Our Summer Cooking Camp is sure to inspire your child's inner chef!

Available for teens aged 12-16, our kids summer camp program runs from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. and features a daily themed breakfast, lunch and snack (see weekly menus below)

We offer a hands-on experience to get kids comfortable in the kitchen and try new foods, all while encouraging their creativity. Our junior chefs will learn to make all of the recipes from scratch, learn to use a variety of utensils, learn kitchen safety and hygiene, how to properly measure dry and liquid ingredients, how to follow a recipe, table etiquette and much more. In between cooking and eating, the kids will enjoy food-themed activities and time to play outside at the local park or private outdoor space. *We are 100% Nut and Peanut Free!*

Week 3 – July 7-11

West Coast Canadian

  • West Coast Yogurt and Granola Bowl
  • West Coast Turkey Sliders and Salmon Sliders
  • Maple Glazed Roasted Vegetables
  • Nanaimo Bars

Fajita Party!

  • Breakfast nachos
  • Homemade tortillas with grilled chicken and veggies
  • Pico de gallo salsa and guacamole
  • Fruit smoothies with traditional cinnamon sugar cookies

Italian and stuffed

  • Frittata Duo - Chef’s Choice with fresh fruit
  • Three-Cheese ravioli with choice of fresh tomato sauce or creamy Alfredo
  • Italian salad bar
  • Strawberry tiramisu

Japanese Sushi Bar

  • Japanese Crepes with fruit and whipped cream
  • Roll your own sushi with fresh made sushi rice, assorted fish and vegetable fillings

Dishes from the Canadian Prairies

  • Baked apple pancakes
  • Perogies with all the fixings (Potato and cheese stuffed dumplings)
  • Grilled sausages and veggies
  • Mini Flapper Pies (Vanilla custard and meringue) OR rhubarb crisp

A Taste of Mexico:

  • Chilaquiles (tortillas, eggs, cheese, beans and salsa) with fresh fruit
  • Bursting Burritos! Chef’s choice of fillings (beef, chicken, beans, veggies and rice)
  • Chips, salsa and guacamole
  • Pina Colada ice cream (kid-friendly ;))
