"New Orleans is a magical city unlike any in the US. In many ways it mirrors another one of my favorite cities 1,100 kms away, Havana. Both share a love for food, music and vibrant, colorful architecture. I have and still spend time in both cities. Come and spend "a day at Mardi Gras" with me where we'll explore Bourbon Street and beyond. Great food, music and a tale or two!"

Menu:

  • Beignets upon arrival
  • First course: Shrimp n Andouille Gumbo with Cornbread
  • Second Course: Mini Corn and Crab Cakes on Cheesy Grits
  • Main: Blackened Catfish n Maque Choux n Collard Greens
  • Dessert: Bread Pudding with Bourbon Sauce
  • Try our New Orleans featured cocktail of the evening: The Hurricane 

  

  • Classes begin at 6:30 p.m. and are about 3 hours long
  • Our classes combine fun and learning through an interactive, team approach in our single stove family style kitchen
  • All guests will work together to create a full meal of several courses with multiple steps, under the guidance our chef - learn and then eat!
  • Each course is broken down into key steps and recipes will be emailed after the class so you can recreate the meal at home
  • The chef will offer tips and tricks based on their personal experiences.
  • When not cooking, relax with a glass of wine, beer, cocktail or soft drink (available for purchase during the class)
