A hands-on, confidence-building culinary leadership experience for junior chefs ages 14–17.

**Teens - please ensure you read all details below prior to completing your registration**

Our newly developed Chef and Counselor in Training (CIT) Program offers an immersive and exciting opportunity for passionate young food enthusiasts to take their skills — and confidence — to the next level. Designed for motivated junior chefs ages 14–17, this program blends hands-on kitchen training with leadership development, mentorship experience, and real-world job readiness.

Working directly alongside our professional chefs, CITs will strengthen their culinary techniques, gain behind-the-scenes insight into kitchen operations, and build essential life skills such as teamwork, communication, responsibility, and problem-solving. It’s the perfect first step for teens interested in cooking, hospitality, or simply building a strong foundation for future employment.

Acceptance Requirements & Cost

To ensure this program is the right fit for each participant, applicants will complete:

  • Initial Interview with Chef Julian

  • One In-Studio Trial Shift (up to 3 hours)
This trial gives applicants the opportunity to demonstrate their work ethic, teamwork, reliability, and excitement for learning in a real kitchen environment.
