Our Teen Cooking Classes are sure to inspire your child's inner chef!

We offer a hands-on experience to get kids comfortable in the kitchen and try new foods, all while encouraging their creativity

Our junior chefs will learn:

  • confidence and creativity!
  • kitchen safety and proper hygiene
  • to use a variety of utensils
  • how to follow a recipe and properly measure ingredients
  • table etiquette
  • and much more!

Classes are 2.5 hours each, from 5 - 7:30 p.m.

Tuesday January 13 - Italian Comforts

  • Minestrone Soup
  • Homemade Spaghetti and Meatballs
  • Stracciatella Gelato

Tuesday January 20 - Fajita Party!

  • Homemade Tortillas
  • Beef, chicken, pepper and onions with a corn and black bean salsa
  • Churros with caramel and chocolate sauce

Tuesday January 27 - Japanese Sushi Bar

  • Miso soup
  • Roll your own sushi with fresh made sushi rice, assorted fish and vegetable fillings
  • Chocolate dipped fruit dusted with matcha green tea

Tuesday February 3 - Exploring the Flavours of India

  • Homemade Naan
  • Butter chicken
  • Basmati Rice
  • Chai Cookies with Coconut Whipped Cream

Tuesday February 10 - Valentine’s Day

  • Strawberry Spinach Salad
  • Flank Steak and Red Beet Risotto
  • Flourless Chocolate Torte

NO CLASS ON FEBRUARY 17 FOR FAMILY DAY LONG WEEKEND

 

Tuesday February 24 - Israeli Classics from Scratch!

  • Hummus
  • Homemade Pita
  • Chicken Shawarma
  • Israeli Salad
  • Tahini Sauce
  • Tahini, Banana, Date Smoothies

Tuesday March 3 - Chinese Round Table

  • Assorted dim sum – steamed and pan-fried dumplings (chicken, shrimp and vegetarian)
  • Sesame-soy bok choy and carrots
  • Mango cakes with coconut whipped cream

Tuesday March 10 -IRON CHEF

  • Iron Chef menus are always a surprise, decided on by the chef and kids throughout the program. This day will challenge the junior chefs to use all of the skills that they have learned in the previous weeks.

What to Expect:

  • Classes run from 5 - 7:30 p.m.
  • Our classes combine safe fun and learning through an interactive, team approach 
  • Guests will work together to create a full meal of several courses with multiple steps, under the guidance our chef - learn and then eat!
  • Each course is broken down into key steps and recipes will be emailed after the class so you can recreate the meal at home
  • The chef will offer tips and tricks based on their personal experiences.
