Vaughan - Adult Cooking Class - Vietnamese Street Food Tour
Open your senses to the flavours and aromas of Vietnamese food. A plethora of fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs will take your sense on a journey through local markets and snack stands. Chef Julian created this menu by eating his way across Vietnam, learning every recipe, technique and trade secret he could get his hands (and teeth) on.
Guests will become more confident:
Using authentic Vietnamese ingredients
Preparing an instantiable Pho broth (better than most restaurants)
Rolling restaurant quality traditional rice rolls
Upon Arrival: Vietnamese-Style Caramel Chicken Wings or Cauliflower
Shrimp & Vegetable Rice Paper Rolls with Nut-Free “Peanut” Sauce
Green Papaya Salad
Pho Bo (Vietnamese Beef Noodle Soup)
Kem Bo (Avocado-Coconut Ice Cream Parfait)
This menu is easily made vegetarian, vegan, dairy free and gluten free (any dietary requirements must be noted in the comments section of registration)
What to Expect:
Classes begin at 6:30 p.m. and are about 3 hours long
Our classes combine safe fun and learning through an interactive, team approach
Guests will work together to create a full meal of several courses with multiple steps, under the guidance our chef - learn and then eat!
Each course is broken down into key steps and recipes will be emailed after the class so you can recreate the meal at home
The chef will offer tips and tricks based on their personal experiences.
When not cooking, relax with a glass of wine, beer, cocktail or soft drink (available for purchase during the class)
