Vaughan - Kids Cooking Classes - 6 week Winter Session - Saturday January 21 - Saturday March 4 2023


  • Our Kids Cooking Classes are sure to inspire your child's inner chef!
  • Hands-on experience to get kids comfortable in the kitchen and try new foods, all while encouraging their creativity
  • Our junior chefs will learn to make all of the recipes from scratch, learn to use a variety of utensils, learn kitchen safety and hygiene, how to properly measure dry and liquid ingredients, how to follow a recipe, table etiquette and much more
  • Classes are 2 hours each, from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m

Saturday January 21 – French Canadian Favourites

  • Classic Poutine
  • Tourtiere
  • Salad Verte

Saturday January 28 - Chinese Round Table

  • Assorted dim sum – steamed and pan-fried dumplings (chicken, shrimp and vegetarian)
  • Sesame-soy bok choy and carrots
  • Mango cakes with coconut whipped cream

 Saturday February 4 - Taco Party!

  • Homemade tortillas with flank steak and roasted fish
  • Salsa
  • Guacamole
  • Crunchy slaw 

Saturday February 11 - Valentine’s Day

  • Leek and potato soup
  • Coq au vin with roasted root vegetables and fresh baked baguette
  • Chocolate mousse with fresh berries

NO CLASS ON SATURDAY FEBRUARY 18 FOR THE FAMILY DAY LONG WEEKEND

Saturday February 25 – Japanese Sushi Bar

  • Miso soup
  • Roll your own sushi with fresh made sushi rice, assorted fish and vegetable fillings
  • Chocolate dipped fruit dusted with matcha green tea

Saturday March 4 – Iron Chef Finale

This class is always a surprise. It will be a fun class that will challenge the kids to use all of the skills that they have learned in the previous weeks
